farfalla is the name of our new place halfway up to the village. It is 7.5 acres of huge chestnut and oak trees along a small stream with many old stone buildings.
we lovingly renovated the main house using traditional materials. it is composed of a bed room upstairs and a kitchen downstairs. next to the kitchen is a bath room with a shower and the small kids house with a double bed and two bunk beds for your kids or friends.
farfalla has an ancient feeling about it, possibly going back to etruscan times. to enhance this feeling for your holiday, farfalla remained without electricity. you can cook on a gas stove or a wood stove and prepare your hot water with a wood stove in the bath room. your food you can keep cool inside an old well. around the main house there are two roughly renovated houses which you are welcome to use, too.
there are many beautiful spaces around the house, walking up to the village is about 1 km through the forest.
